Airmadidi, October 7–8, 2025 — Universitas Klabat (UNKLAB), through its Research and Community Service Institute, successfully hosted the 12ᵗʰ International Scholars’ Conference (12thISC) under the theme “Collaborative Innovations: Shaping Global Solutions through Interdisciplinary Research.” The two-day international conference brought together hundreds of researchers, lecturers, and students from five countries and fourteen institutions across Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, and Papua New Guinea. A total of 155 papers were presented by 159 authors across seven major disciplines, highlighting the event’s strong spirit of interdisciplinary collaboration and global engagement. The conference was officially opened by UNKLAB President Dr. Danny Ivan Rantung, M.B.A., Ph.D., who emphasized UNKLAB’s ongoing commitment to fostering research and innovation that serve both knowledge and humanity.

According to Debby E. Sondakh, S.Kom., M.T., Ph.D. General Chair of the 12ISC and Director of LPPM UNKLAB, this year’s conference reaffirmed UNKLAB’s commitment to advancing global academic collaboration and fostering impactful research that transcends disciplines and borders. “Through 12th ISC, we not only share research outcomes but also build networks that lead to sustainable and meaningful solutions,” she said.
